The 2020 AVCP Scholarships have been awarded as follows:
COMMUNITY SERVICE SCHOLARSHIPS
In the amount of $500: Macy Chamberlain, Mason Lubas, and Kyle Reeves from Antietam School District; Joshua Klusewitz from Exeter Township School District.
MACY CHAMBERLAIN – ANTIETAM SCHOOL DISTRICT
Macy is pursing a BS Nursing degree at DeSales University, becoming a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting, working with critical care, emergency, or labor and delivery patients.
MASON LUBAS – ANTIETAM SCHOOL DISTRICT
Mason plans to attend Penn State University to earn a degree in Cyber Security, Business Management, or Computer Science.
KYLE REEVES – ANTIETAM SCHOOL DISTRICT
Kyle is planning to attend Alverina University to earn a degree in Criminal Justice, eventually leading to a career as a K-9 Handler in the US Marshals Service.
JOSH KLUSEWITZ
EXETER TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT
Joshua Klusewitz is attending Swarthmore College where he is planning to study Environmental Studies or Political Science.
KERRY HOFFMAN/ MOUNTAINEER PRIDE AWARD
in the amount of $500: Kylie Keen from Antietam School District.
KYLIE KEEN – ANTIETAM SCHOOL DISTRICT
Kylie plans to major in Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh, eventually heading to Medical School to become an MD specializing in either emergency medicine, dermatology, or neurology.
