Penn Borough Municipal Authority (MPBMA), has CLOSED the Carsonia Park multi-use field, playground, hockey/volleyball & basketball courts for Public safety. The Crystal Lake walking trail will remain open. Please use caution and exercise with appropriate “social distancing”. Keep safe. All will be reopened when deemed safe. 2017 SCHOLARSHIP
Again this year, the Antietam Valley Community Partnership is offering four $500 scholarships to high school seniors living in Mt. Penn Borough, Lower Alsace Township or St. Lawrence Borough. The focus of the scholarship is community service. A copy of the scholarship application may be obtained from the guidance offices of Antietam Middle-Senior High School, Exeter High School, or Berks Catholic High School, or can be downloaded from this web site. The deadline for submission is Sunday April 9, 2017. Finalists will be invited to interview with the AVCP scholarship committee. Interviews will be held in the Antietam district office.
